Downtown Seattle has succumb to changes in the earth; nature reclaims the city. The Seattle Space Needle and Monorail stand over a couple of grizzly bears fishing in a river that used to be 5th Avenue. Nature has returned to the wild.
Tim created this image in the 1990's and it was an immediate hit. Back then the technology was not yet available to re-create paintings on canvas. So when the limited edition lithographs sold out people were clamoring for more. Now Tim is able to offer this classic image on canvas, on which he paints directly to add extra dimension.
Please allow a few weeks for Tim to complete a mixed Media Painting. Each is individually created when ordered, these are not mass produced.
Mixed-Media Paintings are created with archival printers inks on Archival Canvas, then Tim hand paints directly on the canvas, using acrylic paint & paint brushes. He creates something unique on each canvas. Then he applies a clear acrylic finish for protection from the elements. These paintings are offered unframed, or choose the framed option. An unframed painting will be wired and ready to hang, but the staples holding the canvas to the stretcher bars (on the side of the canvas) will be visible - it should be framed at some point. Our framed paintings are in a black wood frame (hand crafted for us here in WA. state) and wired so they're ready to hang.
