She's up to something, what could it be? The iconic coffee shop appears to have endured dramatic changes to the earth, and now the seafaring traditions have been revived. But is it romance on the high seas? Or high jinks for the sailors? Hmm ... something's brewing! This painting tells a little history of the Starbuck company that many do not know. Their logo is a mermaid (technically it's a siren with twin tails, but artists can change things a bit) and their name has it's roots in the book, "Moby Dick," by Herman Melville, which featured a first mate named Starbuck. Hence the mermaid under a Starbucks sign, and a classic ship coming in to land on the beach represent a nod to their heritage.

Original Painting on an archival gallery wrap canvas, measuring 48" wide x 60" tall. Offered Gallery Wrapped (no frame needed) ready to hang.
