This is a classic Wistrom realistic nautical scene. In this scene a little boy is fishing off a pier all the while daydreaming about the day when he can go to sea. This scene comes from Tim's experiences boating in the Pacific Northwest. And the little boy is from a photo of his youngest son when he was about 3 years old.
